Directly situated above its own natural private beach, the Villa offers one of the nicest views of a region that was once birth place of the Greek civilisation. In summer, the offshore thermic breeze guaranties most afternoons a bay as glassy as any swimmer could dream of, with the luxury of having a natural cliff of rocks delimitating a private beach.

With a master bedroom offering one of the best views you could imagine of any Greek seaside place, La Villa has four bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and an extra bedroom if need. The blissful experience will be enhanced with all beds, linen, kitchen and equipements of the highest standards. Two spacious terraces allow for both relaxing moments by the pool, to entertainment by the sunset just off your horizon.

 

A place to relax, swim and also enjoy traditional food in the charming local tavernas surrounding, but also more refined restaurants just within minutes drive of Amanzoe or Portoheli, one of Greece’s most demanded Rivieras.

A place to explore with day trips options to all Epidavros theatre, Nafplion’s old capital, and many more archaeological and natural sightseeing wonders. 

 

Just two and a half hours enjoyable drive from Athens, the Villa can also be accessed by high speed catamaran boats or helicopter with a heli pad just a couple of minutes away. Either-way the trip alone is an experience crossing charming landscapes of olive groves and pine trees blending into the Mediterranean sea’s beautiful waters.

All watersports, sailing, scubadiving can be arranged from Porto Heli, just as we can help you organise many different daytrip tours in the region. 

Boat trips to the charming islands of Spetses and Hydra are also regular both day and night.

Our conciergerie can also help you with many services such as cater at your own desires cooking courses or activities such as Yoga at La Villa.

 

Our philosophy

 

There is a saying that an ideal house must, work efficiently, pleasure the eye, comfort the soul, and warm the heart. As simple as they sound, these sources of inspiration where means to an end of offering the ultimate mediterranean Villa to those looking for a retreat to relax with family or friends where your senses feel bliss. Ultimately, our architectural choices were made with space as a place for comfort blending into the natural surroundings comforting both heart and soul. Your senses will judge.

 

The privilege of such a stunning natural setting had us renovate La Villa to high standards where all rooms converge to a poolside living place, steps away from its own sea access. We have tried to integrate as much as possible the private spacious villa to the beautiful surroundings of pine et olive trees just by the sea. Olive oil lovers will also have the pleasure to taste our own garden’s olive oil.

 

Surrounded by its wilderness of pine and cypress trees, the nature’s blessing will also offer you a place to sleep, read, write and relax away from any disturbances in a natural bio-diversity of typical local mediterranean species of plants. 

 

Food lovers will be glad to know we are just a ten minutes walk away from the charming Doroufi taverna, directly positioned on the beach and offering local food with its pride of own garden bio agriculture and plants harvesting. 

 

This meant that the sun orientation, the predominant winds, the views, and the high topography all lead to the most blissful sense of well being at any given time of the day. For instance, the master bedroom and its corner minimal windows offers one the feeling of floating above the sea. As for the building itself, with all rooms west facing, sunset moments are a gift every evening wherever you are. 

 

About the region

 

The Argolis’ important role in the birth of the Greek civilisation with Mycenae, probably comes in part from the eternal beauty of the region. Blending delicate and harsh aspects, from the soft sunsets to harsh mediterranean sun and heat, from the rusty old farms to the limestone cute little churches, sail-less windmills, and of course its own harsh and mystical vegetation here again from millennial olive trees to cypresses and pine trees all softly offering the very dry place its tonal colours over round hills and herbs of scents we all know about, here again helping bees produce some of the world’s best honeys. 

The whole road from Corinth to Kilada is full of charming sights including Epidavros where Greek classical and tragic plays are still performed and Navplion the former capital of Greece and its castle and some neo-classical 19th century architecture. Kilada itself will offer a charming place to wonder around local fishermen and the region’s last shipyard where traditional Kaikia handcrafted boats are still made. For those looking for peace, well the bay of Kilada and Doroufi where we are is the chosen place by many  Greek boat magnates as a place to relax. A side, a new signature Golf from Jack Nicklaus with its club house is the last addition to the region’s hidden Chic. For those looking for a little more unhidden glamor, the island of Spetses full of lovely tavernas and bars as well as the island of Hydra famous for its Art scene and car free spirit are just a water taxi away from Porto Heli.
